I think that Golding's interpretation of what children would be like stranded alone might be more accurate because most of the events that happen in the book are a symbol for something else that happened in history. I don't necessarily think children would go on a blood thirsty killing spree, though. The show, "Kid Nation" is a reality show, and reality shows are not usually an accurate account of events. The footage is edited to show only the most dramatic agruements and issues. Those children have not been stranded in the middle of no where with no adults, what about the camera men?
